WHO WE ARE
In 2011 this passion for DJing started.
It did not take long the first gig – a birthday party – was planned, and many more followed.
Leap in time to the year 2017.
The DJ duo CategorieN is working on new tracks of their own in the studio.
This is now the reality of the two.
To delight the whole crowd of fans, they also combine several genres
and are not afraid of a temporary Happy Hardcore take over or switches to Raw-phoric.
At the age of 16, he came into contact with DJ equipment for the first time.
After visiting Defqon.1 with his founding partner 2 years later, he enrolled in a DJ school in Munich. This way not only got professional DJ equipment at a lower price but also learned how to DJ via timecode vinyl.
Through contacts and recommendations, the first small gigs took place.
The first time he came into contact with the hardstyle scene was in 2017 at the event Hard Nights in Bavaria.
Regular appearances on the radio station Rautemusik HardeR got him a gig at the World Club Dome. Others followed at Electrisize Festival and Utopia Island.
At the end of 2017, it came to the ultimate change to the current partner and in the same year the first joint gigs.
He started playing the guitar and piano at the age of 4. Later he learned clarinet and drums at school.
These skills still help him to produce today.
In the beginning, he tried his hand at EDM, later he switched to dubstep and trap. While listening to harder styles, he got to know his DJ colleague. With him, he decided to start out as a hardstyle DJ duo.
His style is still experimental, but he loves organic instruments like guitars, violins, piano, etc. These elements are also always found in their tracks.
